Students at Belvedere Elementary School took part in a mock vote Friday afternoon to learn about the federal election process.

Teacher Janice Bogner says playing politics is a good way for kids to learn about elections, and may help convince them that voting is important, once they're old enough for the real thing.

The CBC's Rick Bremness was at the school today to see how things were going at the ballot box.
