Edmonton seeks input from public on city budget
The city of Edmonton is asking residents to identify priorities for the city and what they think is a fair cost for civic services.
An online survey has been set up for people to give their input.
The survey also provides information about how the city pays for services and where taxes of a typical Edmonton household go.
Edmontonians are asked to identify the city services that are important to them and for their perceptions about the amount paid through monthly taxes.
The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete.
The results will be provided to city council for their discussions on the 2013 operating budget and will be posted on the city's website by July 2012.
