Edmonton police seek Calgary man in armed robbery

Edmonton police are searching for a Calgary man accused to firing a gun and robbing a man outside a west-end hotel.

Edmonton police are asking for the help as they search for a man wanted in connection to an armed robbery.

Police are searching for Scott Anthony Letiec in connection with the crime. He is considered armed and dangerous. (CBC News)

Police say Scott Anthony Letiec, of Calgary, is accused of robbing a man outside the Jasper Place Hotel on Stony Plain Road and 153 Street Saturday afternoon.

Letiec allegedly pulled out a gun, fired a shot and then aimed it at another man at who was having a cigarette outside the hotel.

He then demanded money and fled on foot.

Police say no one was hit when the gun was fired.

Letiec  is Caucasian, around 6’1" and weighs 200 lbs with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.
