Edmonton Police are looking for the public's help after a woman was allegedly abducted this week in northeast Edmonton.

Police say a woman in her mid-teens was walking down an alley on Wednesday afternoon behind a strip mall at 118 Avenue and 48 Street. One of two men travelling in a truck allegedly got out, grabbed the woman and forced her into the vehicle.

Police searched in the area but could not find the woman or truck.

Police say the woman is white with a tan, blonde hair, wearing a coat and black yoga pants. The driver of the truck is white, in his 20s, wearing a grey hoodie and white baseball cap, while the passenger is described as Aboriginal, in his 20s, with a messy appearance and heavy build, lumberjack style jacket with blue and grey squares.

The vehicle is described as a grey, single-cab pickup from the 1960s or 70s, with rust around the wheel wells.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
