Edmonton crash leaves taxi passenger on life support

An Edmonton man is on life support after the taxi he was riding in was struck by a car earlier this morning.

An Edmonton man is on life support after the taxi he was riding in was struck by a car earlier this morning.

At around 2:15 a.m. this morning a BMW crashed into the cab which contained four passengers at 107th Street and 121st Avenue.

All four passengers were taken to hospital, but one man sustained life-threatening injuries.

The two people in the BMW ran from the crash scene, but were tracked down and arrested by police dog handlers.

107th Street remains closed down to all traffic between 119 Avenue and 122 Avenue.
