Edmonton-area youth worker faces sex-related charges
A former youth-care worker in Alberta has been charged with sexual exploitation of a young person.
Nicole Doreen Myrfield, of Leduc, worked for the Edmonton and Area Child and Family Services Authority in a position of trust or authority, when she had an inappropriate relationship with a youth, say Strathcona RCMP.
The 34-year-old woman has been released from custody and is set to appear in Sherwood Park provincial court on May 23rd.
The youth cannot be identified and police are not releasing the youth's age or gender.
