Death at Jeep show ruled accidental

No charges will be laid in a stunt that went awry and killed a young woman at a Jeep show last May

A stunt that went awry and killed a young Edmonton woman at a fundraiser last May has been ruled accidental.

Melinda Green, 20, died after a Jeep slipped during a climbing demonstration at the event in Oliver Square on May 18.

After reviewing the case, the Crown prosecutor determined there was no negligence involved so no charges will be laid.
