If you were in downtown Edmonton today, you may have noticed more people were out and about than is usual for a grey, rainy Saturday.
More than 1,000 people participated in the Scion City Chase in Edmonton today.
The event tested participants' brains, bodies and comfort zones in a series of challenges as they navigated themselves across the city.
Along the way, competitors found themselves sliding down a huge slip and slide as well as navigating a pylon field while blindfolded with only their partner’s voice to guide them.
Past challenges in the city chase have included rock climbing blindfolded, handling reptiles and eating insects.
