'Celebration of life' held for Rienna Nagel in Spruce Grove
Family says Nagel's five children are "very well" and being cared for by family and friends.
Friends and family of 36-year-old Rienna Nagel are gathering in Spruce Grove on Saturday to celebrate the womans life.
The body of Nagel, a mother of five, was found by police at her Spruce Grove home after they received a 911 call early last Saturday morning. Nagel's husband, Christopher Ray Nagel, 36, was taken into police custody and has been charged with first-degree murder.
The memorial is being held at the Spruce Grove Alliance Church. Family are asking that, in lieu of flowers, donations are made to a trust fund for Nagel's children.
Nagel's family said in a statement that the five children "are very well and are being cared for by friends and family at this time."
