The 18th annual CBC Edmonton Turkey Drive kicked off it final day with music, singing and a constant stream of donors to CBC's centre stage downtown.
The final drive enlisted the help from the University of Alberta's Madrigal Singers and the Guthrie School choir.
Edmonton's Food Bank executive director Marjory Bencz said she is thankful for each person and group that have made donating to the Turkey Drive a priority every year.
"CBC listeners have brought a lot of passion to this cause and supported us in so many ways," Bencz said. II's always a very exciting and dynamic event because it brings a number of players and everyone has their own slant."
The Turkey Drive goal is to raise $500,000 or about 20,000 turkeys.
