Edmonton's downtown turned into a dance party Saturday afternoon as people shimmied their way through the streets in brightly coloured costumes for the Cariwest Grand Costume Parade.
Thousands of people lined the streets to take in the music, dance and extravagant costumes weave through the area.
The parade is the largest event of the three day Cariwest Festival.
The festival, which is in its 30th year, is a celebration of Caribbean culture. It wraps up on Sunday.
