Edmonton police are investigating after bullets shattered several windows in a downtown office tower near 104th Avenue and 101st Street.
Police say they received reports of gunshots being fired near the building early Friday morning. It is thought that the windows were hit at that time.
No one was injured.
Investigators from the downtown division and the tactical and forensics units are currently gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to the shooting.
"At this time it is too early in the investigation to determine a motive, if any," said Inspector Joel Whittaker in a release made Saturday. "While no one was injured in this incident, we are taking this very seriously."
