Boxcar kittens survive 5-day train ride without food, water
Kittens arrive in Edmonton on train from Chicago
Two kittens lucky to be alive after arriving in Edmonton in a sealed boxcar on a train from Chicago are now in the care of the humane society.
An employee at an Edmonton warehouse company opened the boxcar Tuesday and discovered the two one-month old cats.
It's believed the kittens had been on the train for five days without food or water.
The two have been nicknamed Chicago Joe and Boxcar Willemina.
