Borden Park to become natural swimming pool

The first ever natural swimming pool in Canada is coming to Edmonton.

Pool to be first of its kind in Canada

The first ever natural swimming pool in Canada is coming to Edmonton.

The one-of-a-kind facility, scheduled to open in 2016, will be free of bleach and chemicals, instead using plants, gravel and limestone to filter the water.

As Travis McEwan reports in the video the pond's surface will be used for skating in the winter.
