A snow-covered body was found early Friday morning in an alley near 82nd St. and 114th Ave. ((CBC))

Homicide detectives were called after a body was found behind a northeast Edmonton house early Friday morning.

Police went to the house at 114th Avenue and 82nd Street around 5 a.m. after they received a call about "trouble with a person". When they arrived, they found a body in the alley, covered with snow,

The age, gender or identity of the victim has not been released.

A number of people in the house have been interviewed. One was arrested on an unrelated charge of breaking probation conditions.

Detectives knocked on doors in the area to see if anyone heard or saw anything.
