Alvin Goh sentenced for $700K Rexall Place embezzlement
A man accused of stealing more than $700,000 while working at Rexall Place has been sentenced to jail time and ordered to pay the money back.
Alvin Jackson Goh, 37, was arrested in the United Kingdom by Interpol following an international warrant being issued for him in May 2013.
Goh was convicted of stealing bags of cash from the vault belonging to his employer, Dominion Sportservice. He was also accused of stealing cash when he was a bartender at Rexall Place.
He was sentenced to 4 years, with credit for 9 months already served. He has also been ordered to pay back around $734,000 dollars.
