7,000 Edmonton students go for gold at indoor games

It's school vs. school at the 38th annual Running Room Indoor Games at the University of Alberta Butterdome, Tuesday.

But, as video producer Peter Evans found out, the games are more of a chance for students to stay active, get an introduction to track and field, and find out what it's like to compete in a major venue.

The competition opened Feb. 8 and finals go March 12.
