2 killed in motorcycle, truck collision
Two people died after a pickup truck collided with a motorcycle west of Edmonton Sunday afternoon.
The crash occurred at 1:23 p.m. when the pickup turned in front of an oncoming motorcycle at the intersection of Highway 33 and Township Road 564.
Edward Rensch, 54, the driver of the motorcycle, died at the scene. Passenger Diane Rensch, 48, died shortly afterward in hospital. Both were from St. Albert.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
Alcohol and weather were not factors in the crash, RCMP said.
