2 base jump from Pearl Tower highrise in 2nd incident
Edmonton Police are investigating after another base jumping incident west of downtown.
Two people allegedly climbed to the top of the 390-foot Pearl Tower on Jasper Avenue Thursday night and jumped off.
One of the jumpers was caught by security and taken into police custody.
This is the second time base jumpers have leaped from the Pearl Tower construction site.
Three people were charged with trespassing and fined $287 each after jumping from the building on the Aug. 4 long weekend.
