An Edmonton family is finding that giving away $2,500 in tickets to Olympic events in Sochi is not as easy as first thought.
The MacDonalds so enjoyed their first Olympic experience in Vancouver in 2010, they couldn't wait to get to Sochi, buying tickets as soon as they became available.
But in October, they learned became aware that financial and health reasons would prevent them from going.
They tried selling and giving the tickets away to charity, but found no takers.
