A woman was killed in an apparent rollover crash just south of Calgary early Monday morning.

Emergency crews from Okotoks were called to Dunbow Road near 80th Street, about 15 kilometres southeast of the South Health Campus in Calgary, at 8 a.m.

An SUV had apparently lost control and possibly rolled, ejecting the single driver — a woman in her 20s, officials said.

She was declared dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.

"There were no witnesses to the incident; however, a caller reported hearing the collision from a residence," EMS said in a release.

RCMP are investigating the crash.
