Road closures in the northeast caused by a watermain break will affect Calgarians' commutes for several days, the city says.
The break happened on 36th Street at 20th Avenue and Rundlehorn Drive N.E. on Saturday and the city says crews have been working around the clock to do road and utility repairs. However, road work is expected to continue until Wednesday.
Northbound 36th Street at 20th Avenue and Rundlehorn Drive N.E. remains closed and there may be intermittent closures in the southbound lane as crews do work on the water valve.
The city says the closure will impact weekday commutes and rush hour traffic, including bus routes.
Delays are expected and commuters are advised to find other routes.
