Warrant issued for Siksika man in baby assault

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a man from Siksika First Nation charged with assaulting a baby in 2011.

Kinsey Gordon Jerry is alleged to have assaulted a four-month-old child

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a man from the Siksika First Nation, near Gleichen, Alta., after he failed to appear for a court date Thursday.

Kinsey Gordon Jerry, 27, is charged with aggravated assault for allegedly injuring a four-month-old child in Sept. 2011.

The child was sent by STARS air ambulance to Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary for head trauma and has since recovered and been released into the care of child services.

Jerry is described as about five feet eight inches tall, 171 pounds and of medium build. He is described as aboriginal with black hair and brown eyes.
