Some groups that represent victims of crime are frustrated with the national parole board's decision Wednesday to grant Daniel Tschetter day parole.

The truck driver from Cochrane, Alta., was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2009 after he plowed his cement truck into a car —killing five members of a family.

Bruce McGloan, whose son was attacked and killed in 1998, is a victims' rights advocate.

He spoke with the CBC's Brooks DeCillia.
