Calgary police are warning women to be on their guard after two groping incidents in the city’s southeast in the last month.
Investigators say the most recent case happened on Tuesday in a park near the Erin Meadows Greens neighbourhood.
A 49-year-old woman was jogging in the area around 3 p.m. MT when she was approached from behind by a man who groped her and then ran off.
Police say a similar incident happened around 5 p.m. MT on June 7.
A 56-year-old woman was reportedly working in her front yard on Erin Grove Bay when she was groped by a man who also ran off after the attack.
In both cases, the man is described as Caucasian, around 25 years old, 5’7" tall, with a slim build.
He was wearing grey pants and a dark shirt at the time.
Police say these incidents are not believed to be linked to a recent sexual assault on June 17 on a pathway near Deerfoot Trail and Blackfoot Trail S.E.
