Town of Cochrane imposes fire ban
Ban put in place following grass fire
The town of Cochrane has imposed a fire ban due to dry and windy conditions.
The ban went into effect at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. It includes regulated burning barrels or fire pits and Incinerators on acreages.
Charcoal barbecues, chimineas and fires in designated areas in camping grounds are also not allowed.
All burning permits have been suspended until further notice.
