Sylvan Lake skateboarding accident sends 1 to Calgary hospital
23-year-old in serious condition with potentially life-threatening injuries
A young man is in serious condition in a Calgary hospital after a skateboarding accident in Sylvan Lake.
STARS air ambulance crews responded at 2:38 p.m. MT Saturday for reports of a 23-year-old man with potentially life-threatening injuries.
The helicopter landed in a school yard in Sylvan Lake at 3:20 p.m. and transported the man to Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary.
He is currently in serious condition.
