Calgary police are investigating after a suspicious death in the city's southeast.

A man's body was discovered by his roommate just after 4 p.m. MT Sunday, according to Duty Insp. Joel Matthews.

The results of an autopsy conducted Monday have not yet been released, but are expected on Tuesday pending further investigation.

The house is in the 2000 block of 27th Street S.E. in the community of Southview.
