Young Calgary filmmaker remembered at memorial

Hundreds of people attended a memorial Saturday for John Driftmier, a young Calgary filmmaker who is being remembered as "contagiously positive."
The 30-year-old died in a plane crash in Kenya last week while filming a television series.
"John was a guy that had all these amazing opportunities. He really seized the life experience," said Tyson Hepburn, who was Driftmier's business partner and best friend.
"He loved life, life loved him and he loved everyone in his life."
By age 30, Driftmier had already travelled to more than 60 countries to either film or direct documentaries for television.
