Alberta campsites booking up for May long weekend

Albertans nostalgic for mosquitoes, smoke and rain are snapping up campsites for the May long weekend.
Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance, making today the first day that provincial campsites can be booked.
However people are reporting difficulty booking through the Alberta campgrounds website.
Alberta tourism said the reservation system is busy and advises people to keep trying.
Campers looking to book a site for the Canada Day long weekend won't be able to do that for several more weeks.
