Man killed in single vehicle collision with tree

A man is dead after his car crashed into a tree in city's northwest early Sunday morning.
EMS was called to Varsity Estates Drive N.W. around 2 a.m.
The only person in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
EMS spokesperson Adam Loria says there was massive damage to the vehicle.
No name has been released.
Speed might have been a factor, police said.
