Police have ruled out foul play in the disappearance of a Lethbridge man.

Matthew Robillard, a 25-year-old father, was missing for two days. He has since been reunited with his family.

Hundreds of people searched for Robillard across southern Alberta on Friday, even using private planes and a helicopter.

Police now say they are not seeking suspects. Calgary police found Robillard in a northeast hotel just before 3:30 a.m. MT Saturday. Police say he had injuries, but did not comment on the severity.

Friends and family say they're overjoyed to have the man back at home.

Family friend Tyson Leavitt says the family wants to thank all those who helped search.

"Everyone's extremely happy. The big thing is that they're just so grateful for everything, that all the volunteers jumped in and helped. You know, it was just a great collaborative effort from everyone,"

Leavitt says the police worked hard to "crack the case."

Robillard went missing from Lethbridge early Thursday morning after leaving for his job in Picture Butte, Alta. His car was found a few hours later in Calgary, reportedly with one of the windows smashed.

Police say they are continuing to investigate.
