SUV hits C-Train in downtown Calgary

Two people were injured after an SUV hit a C-Train in downtown Calgary. (CBC)
Two people escaped serious injuries on Tuesday after the sport utility vehicle they were driving was struck by a C-Train.
It happened along Seventh Avenue S.E. and MacLeod Trail at 6:15 p.m.
Police say the vehicle ran a red light on Macleod Trail and was struck on the passenger side by the train.
The man driving suffered minor injuries and the woman was transported to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
