Pedestrian killed in hit and run on Siksika Nation

Gleichen RCMP believe a 19-year-old man who was found dead in a ditch on Siksika Nation was the victim of a pedestrian hit and run.
On Jan. 1 around 8:30 a.m. MT, RCMP responded to the scene along Highway 901 about three kilometres west of Highway 547.
Gleichen RCMP are asking anyone who was travelling in the area between 6 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to contact the detachment at 403-734-3056.
Officials are also looking for a 2010 to 2013 Chevrolet Equinox that has significant damage to the lower front end on the passenger's side.
The victim has been identified as Reyd Nevin Rabbit Carrier from Siksika Nation.
An autopsy is expected to take place on Thursday.
