Alberta Premier Alison Redford shares a seasonal greeting for Canadians for the holiday special episode of This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
"Christmas is my favourite time of year in Alberta," says Redford in the skit.
"Most people spend their time with family and friends. I choose to spend the bulk of my time the way I do the rest of the year — having a scotch with my friends from the oil and gas industry, talking about how to relax environmental regulations.
"Looks like another mild winter. You're welcome, Canada."
Redford was just one of the premiers who participated in the special, which airs Tuesday, Dec. 11, on CBC Television.
The mock news show will also feature guests from the original series, including Mary Walsh and Greg Thomey. Barry Weiss will perform his Christmas shopping Storage Wars-style and Canadian actor Gordon Pinsent joins the Three Wise Men for a gift-seeking pilgrimage at the mall.
