It’s game day at the 100th Grey Cup in Toronto.

Five days of pre-game hype, hoopla and hangovers are just about over.

Former Stampeders quarterback Doug Flutie and CFL legend Russ Jackson are leading the inaugural fan march from Varsity Stadium to the Rogers Centre prior to the game with the iconic Grey Cup in tow.

Some breaking news from the CFL today on the Anwar Stewart front.

This will be his ninth Grey Cup, but only his eighth as a member of the active roster.

That ties Stewart with several other players who have played in eight title games. The record is nine.

Stewart has four Grey Cup rings on his resume.

The Stampeders defensive lineman has also been tasked with giving the pre-game speech.

It was supposed to be a surprise but Stewart let it slip during Saturday's media availability, to the chagrin of coach John Hufnagel.

I would have let Calgary mayor Naheed Nenshi give the talk.

I laughed out loud right before my last live TV report on Friday when they played the clip of the mayor saying "win one for the Nensh."

Not quite Ronald Reagan's "win one for the Gipper," but still pretty impressive.

The mayor is predicting an entertaining, close game won by the Stampeders.

Who am I to argue with the "Nensh?" Enjoy the game, I know I will!
