A Calgary charity that gives baby supplies to families in need said their calls for donations have been answered.
Andrea Brumwell with NeighbourLink Calgary said an anonymous donor has stepped forward promising to match every cash donation up to $15,000.
Earlier this week, NeighbourLink told CBC News it had a wait list of 50 babies who desperately needed a crib.
Brumwell said, since that story ran, donations started to come in again.
“We’ve had folks who have stopped by and dropped off some cribs and given some cash. So I think we’re down to about 42 for our wait list,” Burmwell said.
The non-profit organization relies solely on donations of cribs and cash.
