Calgary police search for suspect in S.W. stabbing
Police say the incident happened at the 1200 block of 17th Avenue S.W.

Calgary police say the condition of a 33-year-old man has improved after he was stabbed several times early Wednesday morning.
The man was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but has since been upgraded to serious but stable condition.
Police say the stabbing happened at the 1200 block of 17th Avenue southwest shortly before 3 a.m. MT.
Authorities say they do not have any suspects at this time, and the motive is unknown.
The suspect is described as a male with olive skin, six feet tall, with a medium build, wearing a tuque and three-quarter length jacket.
