Man filming poachers attacked, say RCMP

A man was assaulted while videotaping potential poachers, say police in the southern Alberta county of Vulcan.
The victim told police he videotaped two men fishing in the Travers Reservoir on Sunday and keeping everything they caught, despite the size or the species, said RCMP Const. Todd Olson.
“As he was taping he was then assaulted by these people because, of course, he is taping what they are doing illegally.”
Olson says the man has minor injuries. Police are looking at video evidence of the truck the two men were in, which could help track them down.
