Two Calgary men walked away without injuries after their helicopter collided with power lines near Pincher Creek, Alta., on Wednesday afternoon.

RCMP say pilot and passenger were returning to Calgary when they flew into the lines, which brought the helicopter down in a pasture.

The downed power lines then started a fire that was contained and eventually extinguished by the Pincher Creek Fire Department and nearby residents.

Fire officials remained on the scene Wednesday afternoon to ensure the fire was completely out.
