Candace Cooke and her husband are trying to make a difference in the lives of children affected by cancer after losing their 18-month-old son to a rare form of leukemia in 2007.

Shortly after his death, the couple opened a yoga studio to help them heal. Five years later, they are now hosting a session for children affected by cancer.

Cooke will also be hosting a fundraiser this weekend in support of childhood cancer awareness month with proceeds going to the Kids Cancer Care Foundation and their son's preschool, which was designed for children living with cancer.

CBC's Terri Trembath visited the studio to find out more.
