Calgary police arrest and charge man in Dover shooting

Calgary police have arrested a 26-year-old man and charged him with second-degree murder in connection to a shooting in the community of Dover last Friday.
Amy Sands, 27, has been identified as the woman who was found dead in the garage on Aug. 31.
Police were called to the home on Dover Meadows Close by neighbours who heard gunshots.
Officers have said the home was known for "activity related to organized crime," and believe the shooting was a targeted incident, although the victim was not likely the target.
Investigators believe there were up to eight people in the garage at the time of the shooting.
