A 32-year-old woman stopped at a gas station at 22nd Avenue and 68th Street to send a text message just before 11 p.m. MT.
That's when she says a man jumped into her car, robbed her and sexually assaulted her.
“He wound up groping her before he fled the vehicle. He left on foot, had our K-9 unit attend the area and try to do tracks but we're unable to find anybody,” said Calgary police Duty Insp. Paul Stacey.
Police say the suspect is a male in his late 30s and was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
