One man is dead and another man is in hospital following a stabbing late last night.
Calgary police were called to the scene of a disturbance at an eight storey apartment building on 10th Street and 16th Avenue N.W. shortly after 3 a.m. MT Saturday.
Police said they have yet to question the wounded man. They have not released any more details.
Yellow tape surrounds much of the block including a nearby donut shop.
Nearby neighbor Kelly Smythe said he didn’t hear anything last night. “I came outside and saw the tape and the cop and I was surprised, but you know, anything can happen anywhere."
