Two firefighters are injured after a Beddington fire that destroyed one home.
A beam from the ceiling fell on a fire captain and senior firefighter. They were treated in hospital and later released.
The house is still standing, but has been gutted by fire.
The fire broke out in the garage just before 5 p.m. MT on Bedford Drive N.E., near Beddington Boulevard.
One man was inside the house, but was able to escape without injury.
Fire crews said their biggest challenge was dealing with rush hour traffic in the area.
