Body found in Elbow River

A body has been discovered along the banks of the Elbow River in the Mission area.
Calgary police have cordoned off the area in the 2200 block of Second Street SW.
Police say a passerby noticed the body and called 911 shortly before 6 p.m. MT.
The province's medical examiner has been called in.
Calgary police said they are not commenting until the results of the autopsy are complete.
