An investigation is underway into a fatal police shooting in Lethbridge.
It happened at a home in west Lethbridge on Sunday night.
Two city police officers responded to a disturbance involving a weapon when a 26-year-old man was shot and killed, officials said.
A knife was recovered from the scene. The police officers were not injured.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) is investigating. ASIRT is an independent agency that probes all incidents involving police that result in death or serious injury.
