A young dog is lucky to be alive after being found with a missing leg.
One look at her wagging tail, you wouldn't know Jeannie was close to death on the weekend.
The animal rescue group that saved the year-old pup thinks it could have been a hunting trap that took off the leg.
The Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society is looking for donations to help pay for a proper leg amputation surgery.
CBC reporter Terri Trembath went to visit Jeannie at a foster home to find out how the young dog is coping.
