An 18-year-old Calgary man is facing nine charges, including reckless discharge of a firearm, following an incident Friday night.
Police say a man fired several shots into the air after a dispute at a house party in northwest Calgary. Police also allege the man had threatened some of the party-goers.
After what police described as a high-risk traffic stop, a firearm was located inside a vehicle and a man was taken into custody.
The man will appear in court later this week.
