Calgarians are inundating the city with calls about smoke from a fire on the Tsuu T'ina First Nation.
The landfill fire that started on Wednesday is still smouldering and is expected to burn for at least another day, even though firefighters are trying to put it out.
The City of Calgary is experiencing more than three times the normal call volume — with most of the calls being about the heavy smoke, officials said.
A smoke advisory has been issued and Alberta Health Services says the risk is considered "moderate".
Tsuu T’ina officials denied a request from CBC News for a look at the fire site.
“We are focusing on bringing this fire under control,” said reserve spokesman Morten Paulsen.
